Seachem Reef Fusion 2 - Alkalinity

Seachem Reef Fusion 2 - Alkalinity is a marine aquarium alkalinity supplement for reef keepers maintaining calcareous species, including corals. It supplies a concentrated mixture of carbonates and bicarbonates to restore and maintain alkalinity, providing the carbonate required for calcareous growth.

Reef Fusion 2 is designed as part of Seachem’s Reef Fusion system. Used alongside Reef Fusion 1, which provides calcium, it helps maintain the calcium and alkalinity levels required in a reef aquarium while providing biologically appropriate levels of other elements and trace minerals.

Key Benefits

  • Restores and maintains alkalinity in marine reef aquariums.
  • Contains carbonates and bicarbonates at an alkalinity of 4400 meq/L.
  • Provides essential carbonate for calcareous species.
  • Works with Seachem Reef Fusion 1 for a coordinated calcium and alkalinity dosing system.

How to Use

  • Dose the aquarium every 1–2 days.
  • Shake well before use.
  • Add Reef Fusion 2 to a high-current area of the tank.
  • When using with Reef Fusion 1, add Reef Fusion 1 first, wait a few minutes, then add Reef Fusion 2 in the same manner.
  • Preferably add the two products in separate locations in the aquarium.
  • Never mix Reef Fusion 1 and Reef Fusion 2 directly.

Dosage

  • Add 1 mL of Reef Fusion 2 per 25 L (6.5 US gallons) of aquarium water.
  • For reference, the cap holds 5 mL.
  • The combined Reef Fusion 1 and Reef Fusion 2 dose contributes 4 mg/L of calcium and 0.176 meq/L of alkalinity.
  • Dosage size or frequency may be increased if needed to maintain target levels, but do not exceed 4 mL/25 L (6.5 US gallons) per day.

Suitable For

  • Marine reef aquariums.
  • Reef systems housing calcareous species.

Compatibility

  • Designed for use with Seachem Reef Fusion 1 calcium supplement.
