D-D H2Ocean Nutri-Fix NP Bio Pellets

are a 100% pure bio-polymer designed to safely and effectively reduce nitrate and phosphate levels in aquariums. Acting as both a biological filter media and a bacterial food source, Nutri-Fix NP supports the growth of beneficial bacteria specifically targeted at nutrient removal—without the risks associated with liquid carbon dosing methods such as vodka.

Unlike carbon dosing that spreads bacteria throughout the display tank, Nutri-Fix NP is used within a fluidised reactor, where it creates a controlled, oxygen-rich environment ideal for rapid bacterial colonisation. These bacteria consume nitrate and phosphate as they grow, locking them into a biomass that can be physically removed via a protein skimmer. As the media is agitated within the reactor, older bacterial layers are shed, allowing for fresh colonisation and consistent nutrient export.

This method ensures ongoing control of dissolved nutrients, improved water quality, and a balanced system that allows for increased feeding without encouraging nuisance algae.

Key Features:

• 100% pure fixed carbon source bio-media
• Reduces nitrate and phosphate through bacterial assimilation
• Designed for use in a fluidised reactor for maximum efficiency
• Works in oxygen-rich environments – no anaerobic processing
• Encourages targeted bacterial growth, not system-wide spread
• Supports stable nutrient levels and improved coral health
• Eliminates the risks of vodka or liquid carbon dosing
• Waste biomass is easily removed via a protein skimmer
• Helps maintain clearer water and reduces algae growth

Ideal for marine aquariums, Nutri-Fix NP provides a safer, more controlled approach to nutrient reduction—enhancing overall stability and supporting healthier, more vibrant tank life.
