Aquavitro Reef Vibrance
Aquavitro Reef Vibrance is a highly concentrated, naturally stabilised potassium iodide supplement for marine reef aquariums. Made by Seachem’s Aquavitro range, it is designed for reef keepers who want to restore and maintain iodide at natural seawater levels to support healthy invertebrate tissue and coral, corallimorpharian and anemone pigmentation.
Key Benefits
- Provides a concentrated potassium iodide source containing 10,000 mg/L.
- Supplies iodide, the form of iodine available for coral uptake.
- Supports soft-tissue health and formation in reef invertebrates, including gorgonians and Sarcophyton corals.
- Helps support the development of golden-brown zooxanthellae pigments as well as green and red accessory pigments in corals, corallimorpharia and anemones.
- Uses a proprietary natural stabilisation process to keep iodide stable under storage and reef aquarium conditions.
- Formulated not to convert into toxic free iodine in the aquarium.
Why Stable Iodide Matters
Ordinary potassium iodide can become unstable after addition to marine water, converting into elemental iodine or iodate. Elemental iodine is biocidal, while iodate is not available to corals and may be toxic at elevated levels. Aquavitro Reef Vibrance is specifically stabilised to remain in the usable iodide form, allowing reef aquarists to monitor consumption accurately.
How to Use
Dose using the included pipette. When filled to the base of the bulb, the pipette holds 1 mL.
Dosage
Add 1 mL per 100 L of aquarium water daily to raise iodide by 0.10 mg/L. If required, adjust the daily dose until iodide measures 0.06–0.08 mg/L, tested six to twelve hours after the previous dose. Continue with the adjusted daily amount and test iodide weekly. Do not overdose.
Testing
Use Seachem MultiTest®: Iodide and Iodine to measure iodide levels and establish your reef aquarium’s ongoing consumption rate.
What’s Included
Aquavitro Reef Vibrance includes a precision dosing pipette.
Frequently Asked Questions
What does Aquavitro Reef Vibrance add to a reef tank?
It adds naturally stabilised potassium iodide, supplying iodide for reef invertebrates, corals, corallimorpharia and anemones.
How much Aquavitro Reef Vibrance should I dose?
Use 1 mL per 100 L daily to raise iodide by 0.10 mg/L, then adjust based on testing to maintain 0.06–0.08 mg/L six to twelve hours after dosing.
Can I use Reef Vibrance for coral colour?
Yes. Iodide is important for pigment development, including golden-brown zooxanthellae colour and green and red accessory pigments in corals and anemones.
Will Reef Vibrance turn into iodine in my aquarium?
No. Its proprietary stabilisation process is designed to keep it in the iodide form rather than converting to free iodine under reef conditions.
How often should I test iodide in a marine aquarium?
Once you have established and adjusted the daily dose, check iodide weekly using a suitable iodide test such as Seachem MultiTest®: Iodide and Iodine.
Is Aquavitro Reef Vibrance suitable for fish-only marine tanks?
It is formulated primarily for reef aquaria where corals, anemones and marine invertebrates require iodide support. Dose only according to measured iodide needs and never overdose.
